The Australian Institute of Physics held the day long “Physics of the Mind” symposium at CSIRO’s East Lindfield site this month. A wide variety of speakers, from the driving force behind IBM’s Jeopardy winning Watson computer to a Phd Physicist turned Buddhist guru, spoke to the diversity of issues in understanding the mind.
The Australian Institute of Physics is holding a one day seminar entitled “Physics of the Mind”. With speakers covering aspects of the mind from Buddhist meditation through to computers that can win at Jeopardy, it is sure to be a thought provoking day.
